Alfa Romeo has revealed a pair of special-edition models based on the Giulietta and MiTo that will make their world debuts at the Geneva motor show next week, where the 4C Spider will make its European premiere.
Seen here in fresh pics, the latter was first officially seen at the Detroit show last month and will join the freshly launched 4C Coupe on sale in Australia later this year.
Fiat Chrysler Automobiles Australia says it's too early to say whether the new Giulietta Collezione or MiTo Racer specials will make it into local showrooms.
However, for the record, the newest variant of Alfa's facelifted small car, mainstream and QV 'Cloverleaf' hot-hatch versions of which have just been released, features a number of unique dark-themed extras.
They include gloss-black mirror caps and unique fog lights, plus the option of a black roof and 17- or 18-inch burnished alloy wheels with black rims. Inside, there is 'dual-chrome' black and grey leather seat trim with contrast stitching and satin-chrome cabin highlights.
The Giulietta Collezione also comes with a leather-wrapped steering wheel, auto-dimming rear-view mirror, dual-zone climate-control and a Uconnect infotainment system with either a 5.0- or 6.5-inch display.
On sale in Europe from April, it will be available with 88kW and 125kW 1.4-litre MultiAir tubo-petrol engines, and a range of 1.6- and 2.0-litre JTDM diesels.
Alfa's MiTo Racer special, meantime, aims for a vintage look by adding a number of chromed styling elements and brown 'eco-leather' upholstery.
Also due in Euro showrooms from April, it's available in a new white paint colour and seven others, and gains polished 17-inch alloys and mirrors, plus a unique sports rear bumper, spoiler and chromed exhaust outlets, and chrome-finished door-handles and the front and rear light frames.
Inside, the MiTo Racer scores new grey textile and brown eco-leather trim for the seats, which also feature matching stitching and Alfa logos. Leather cladding with brown stitching also features on the sports steering wheel, gear shifter and hand brake.
Brown-stitched carpet mats with Alfa logos round out the package and the Racer pack can be applied to a range of engines, including Fiat's 0.9-litre TwinAir turbo-triple, plus 1.3- and 1.6-litre turbo-diesels and a 1.4-litre turbo-petrol four.
