Leaked images [from a Japanese brochure] show Lexus plans to reveal a facelifted version of its RX series SUV at the Geneva Motor Show next month.
Although the changes include revised tail lights and minor interior tweaks, most recognition will come from a new-look front end complete with a broader, horizontal-slat grille comprising an integrated in-bumper cut-out, teardrop foglamps and revised headlights. The horizontal emphasis replaces the current model’s vertically angled grille vanes.
Interior changes are believed to include a new-look steering wheel and some additional splashes of metallic trim.
Powertrains, including petrol V6 and hybrid variants, are expected to remain unchanged, but a new F Sport model is reportedly due to join the lineup brandishing extra body kit and interior garnishing.
