Czech car-maker Skoda has confirmed it will launch a sportier version of the all-new Fabia that arrives in Australia around July.
Called the Monte Carlo, the new Fabia range-topper replaces the previous Fabia RS and will be available in hatch and wagon guise (in some markets).
Opting for the Monte Carlo trim brings 16- or 17- alloy wheels, optional sports suspension, black trim instead of chrome, tinted windows and a tinted panoramic glass roof. Inside, there are sports seats and a sportier three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel.
Pricing is expected following its unveiling at the Geneva motors show, and the new Fabia Monte Carlo hot hatch should join mainstream models Down Under around October.
