Special-edition Storm versions of the Holden Colorado dual-cab 4x4 ute and its seven-seat SUV sibling, the Holden Trailblazer off-roader, are now available with more than $3000 worth of extra features including front nudge and lighting bars.
The tricked out Holden Colorado Storm is priced at $53,990 drive-away ($1300 more than the $52,690 list price of the LTZ Crew Cab auto on which it’s based) and the Holden Trailblazer Storm costs $54,990 drive-away -- $2500 more than the $52,490 list price of the LTZ auto on which it’s based.
However, as well as free on-road costs, both Storm models bring a range of added-value features including a black front bar with LED light bar, and Storm badging.
Claimed to add $4800 worth of added content, the Holden Colorado Storm also adds a soft-drop tailgate, bonnet protector, roof rails, black rear sports bar and ‘STORM’ bodyside decals.
Meantime the Holden Trailblazer Storm adds a claimed $3400 worth of extra features, including a body-coloured rear roof spoiler, rear sports fascia and ‘TRAILBLAZER’ lettering across the bonnet.
Both models continue to employ a lusty 147kW/500Nm 2.8-litre turbo-diesel paired to a six-speed automatic transmission, and other carryover features include an 8.0-inch touch-screen with smartphone mirroring, leather-clad and heated front seats and tyre pressure monitoring.
Holden says customers wanting to take advantage of the Lion brand’s seven-year free scheduled service offer will have to get in before December 31, when the deal ends.
Both models come with Holden’s five-year unlimited-kilometre factory warranty.
