Honda's jazzed up limited-edition
Limited-edition Jazz hits Aussie showrooms from $19,490 drive-awayHonda Australia has released the Jazz Limited Edition this week, which adds a number of visual and equipment upgrades -- and on-road costs -- for just $1000 more than the entry-level Jazz VTi CVT variant on which it's based.
Priced from $19,490 drive-away, Honda says the Jazz special adds $3000 worth of value to the popular light hatch. Additional equipment includes rear parking sensors, rear spoiler, 15-inch alloy wheels, front foglights and a black sports grille.
The Jazz Limited Edition continues to offer Honda’s 18-way Magic Seat cargo compartment, and up front is powered by the existing 1.5-litre four-cylinder engine and CVT combo. Honda quotes an output of 88kW and 145Nm for the Jazz, the frugal model returning an ADR Combined cycle fuel economy figure of 5.8L/100km.
“With the success of the Honda Jazz Limited Edition in 2015, Honda welcomes the return of the 2016 Honda Jazz Limited Edition model,” said Honda Australia director, Stephen Collins.
“It offers a range of value-added features for customers without the hefty price tag.
“The Honda Jazz Limited Edition is very competitive and combined with sensible packaging, a modern interior and really versatile luggage space, is the perfect urban companion.”
Like all Honda passenger vehicles, the Jazz is backed by a three-year/100,000km warranty. It receives a five-star ANCAP safety rating.
The third-generation Jazz has found more than 20,000 Australian homes since its launch in 2014. Year-to-date the model ranked fifth in the Light car segment, selling 5467 units against the Hyundai Accent (11,180 units), Mazda2 (9449), Toyota Yaris (8398) and Suzuki Swift (5939).
