Hyundai has announced the arrival of its all-new i40 Tourer this week, the family-sized wagon set to go on sale from $32,490.
Designed and engineered at Hyundai’s research and development facility in Rüsselsheim, Germany, i40 Tourer is the latest of the marque’s ‘fluidic design’ language models, featuring a sleek body with raked profile, swept-back headlamps and signature hexagonal grille.
i40 Tourer’s cabin is said to focus heavily on ergonomics, while at the same time offering generous accommodation with a high quality finish.
Available in three trim levels: Active, Elite and Premium; i40 Tourer is offered with a choice of 2.0-litre petrol or 1.7-litre turbodiesel engines. These are offered with a choice of six-speed manual (Active only) or six-speed automatic transmissions. Fuel economy returns are as low as 4.7L/100km with CO2 emissions of 124g/km.
