Hyundai Tucson N Line teased

Sportier Hyundai Tucson N Line set to get chassis upgrades from brand's performance division

Hyundai has released the first images of the Hyundai Tucson N Line it will reveal at the Geneva motor show on March 5.

Posting only two pictures of tweaked daytime running LED lamps, a chrome grille and larger darkened alloys, plus another image of an N-branded gear lever and steering wheel, the Sportier Hyundai Tucson N Line is the brand's first SUV to get the N treatment.

Set to arrive in global markets before the end of the year, the N Line upgrades are also set to extend to a redesigned rear bumper that incorporates a faux diffuser, a prominent tailgate spoiler, twin-exhaust pipes, side skirts and lots of 'N-Line' badging.

Inside, expect the Tucson SUV to get a pair of more supportive leather seats and some black headlining.

Alas, under the bonnet the current range of engines are set to carry over completely unchanged but there may be a new sportier chassis tune.

For those hoping for more power, you'll have to wait for the Audi SQ5-rivalling 255kW Hyundai Tucson N that's rumoured to be in development.

Set to arrive in late 2020, the Tucson N is expected to hit 100km/h in less than 6.0 seconds and have a chassis tuned by the same talented team behind the i30 N hot hatch.
