Claimed to offer a “major improvements” over the existing MG6, the revised version MG's small sedan and hatch will be revealed next month.
The MG6, which went on sale in Europe back in 2011, is said to benefit from a revised diesel engine that comes with lower emissions and better fuel consumption. MG hasn’t confirmed what’s happened to the petrol 1.8-litre turbo engine.
Offering “major advances in every area”, the MG sedan and hatch also receives updates to body styling, while the interior upgrade includes more standard kit and a new sat-nav system that’s claimed to be state-of-the-art.
Speaking about the improvements, MG marketing boss Matthew Cheyne said the revised model was a "big leap forward from the original car which has been the result of thousands of hours of dedicated work from our designers and engineers.”
Prices and pics of the facelifted MG6 will be revealed next month and deliveries of the revised MG6 should arrive here towards the end of the year.
