In a bold move that’s set to raise eyebrows across Australia’s competitive 4x4 market, Ineos Automotive has thrown down the gauntlet with its new ‘Love It or Leave It’ program for the latest Quartermaster ute range.
The offer is simple: buy an Ineos Quartermaster, drive it for six months and if it doesn’t live up to expectation, Ineos will buy it back.
There are some caveats around vehicle usage, condition and mileage, but Ineos is so confident buyers will fall in love with its Quartermaster, it’s daring drivers to hate it.
With established off-road vehicles from the likes of Toyota, Ford and Jeep dominating the conversation when it comes to rock-crushing utes, Ineos is clearly keen to try something left-field to get bums on seats.
The European car-maker says the new deal offers “unparalleled peace of mind in the specialised 4X4 category with a new return and refund program” applicable to all new Quartermaster chassis models.
“As a scale-up brand we recognise that we’re combatting brand awareness and trust, to an almost David versus Goliath extent with engrained industry giants who have become a default choice, particularly in regional Australia,” Ineos Automotive Asia Pacific boss Justin Hocevar said.
“Our ‘Love It or Leave It’ offer embodies not only our unwavering confidence in Quartermaster and the Grenadier vision, but it also demonstrates our steadfast commitment to building trust in our customers.”
The company’s confidence stems from positive feedback about its Grenadier line-up, with customers reportedly taking their Quartermasters straight from showrooms into challenging off-road adventures.
Hocevar insists Ineos vehicles are more than a match for the go-to off-road vehicles loved by Aussies and says the Quartermaster’s durability and performance “makes a significant statement when compared to other 4X4s available”.
This almost unprecedented guarantee in Australia’s specialised 4x4 segment shows Ineos isn’t just talking tough – it’s putting its money where its mouth is.
The question now: will Aussie 4x4 enthusiasts take them up on the challenge?
“By their nature, 4x4 enthusiasts like to challenge the status quo, yet for too long they’ve clicked their heels without the opportunity to own a vehicle that is built exactly for their specialised 4x4 interests. The Quartermaster is that vehicle,” Hocevar said.
“So, before opting for the default, we’re daring Aussies to do their research and put the Quartermaster to the test – trust us by buying it, taking it, off-road adventuring with it and loving it… and if they don’t, leave it.”
