Jeep confirms 75th Anniversary specials for Oz

Jeep has revealed 75th Anniversary versions of its entire model range, and they're confirmed for Australian release later this year.

Designed to mark three quarters of a century of "military history and 4×4 leadership”, the special-edition treatment is applied to the Jeep Renegade, Compass, Patriot, Cherokee, Wrangler and Grand Cherokee.

All models comes with traditional “Jeep-exclusive” green paint – including Sarge Green, Recon Green and Jungle Green, depending on the model – while unique additions include 75th anniversary badging, Low Gloss Bronze wheels, bronze/orange accents and special interior trim featuring either anniversary logos or an Ombre Mesh fabric.

Jeep, which was established as a brand in 1941, has confirmed all models will be available in Australia later this year, but has not said exactly when, for how much or precisely which of the following specifications will be offered locally.

“Jeep vehicles have defined the authentic SUV and set the benchmark for off-road capability and freedom since they were first produced in 1941,” said global Jeep chief Mike Manley.

“Today, Jeep SUVs continue to deliver 4x4 leadership, as well as fuel efficiency, world-class craftsmanship and premium on-road dynamics.

“In honour of the brand’s 75th anniversary, we have created eye-catching, special-edition models of each vehicle in our line-up that celebrate the unparalleled history of the legendary Jeep brand."
