Jeep Gladiator Hercules to battle Ranger Raptor

claims there is already running prototypes of the creation, citing a source working closely with Jeep.Rumoured to call its Raptor-rival the Jeep Gladiator Hercules, the faster Jeep pick-up prototypes are claimed to be running an uprated version of the new Wrangler's 3.6-litre Pentastar V6.
Claimed to produce around 210kW of power and 350Nm of torque, the Gladiator Hercules' on-road performance will be surprisingly close to the Ford Ranger Raptor, which despite being down on power (157kW), makes up for its deficit with a generous 500Nm torque peak and a closely-stacked 10-speed automatic gearbox.
Like the Raptor, Jeep engineers have purportedly equipped the fast Jeep Wrangler-based pick-up with long-travel Fox Shox-style dampers along with Baja-inspired visual and mechanical modifications over the standard Gladiator.
Jeep Gladiator Forum claims the faster US pick-up now has to win a business case among senior Fiat Chrysler Automotive execs (Jeep's parent body) before the Hercules is approved for production.
If green-lit, Jeep's Raptor-rival could be ready for sale as soon as late 2020 or early 2021.
