Swedish super car maker Koenigsegg has closed the order books for its track-focussed Agera RS model, with its entire 25-car production run now accounted for just 10 months since it first went on sale.
The 865kW/1280Nm (momentarily) Agera RS coupe can eclipse 400km/h and was revealed at the 2015 Geneva motor show, where the first customer took delivery.
Christian von Koenigsegg, the man behind the car, commented at the time that 10 cars had been sold prior to the opening of the show.
Based on the Agera R and Agera S, the Koenigsegg Agera RS bristles with track-focussed technology including adaptive suspension that connects with sat-nav to process information about where it is in real time. It then fine tunes its chassis and powertrain to suit the specific needs of the moment and section of road or track.
It also features active aerodynamics and a sumptuous interior fit out with carbon-fibre and leather conspiring to make occupants feel suitably special.
Agera RS customers come from all around the world, including Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the USA, Canada, the United Kingdom, Japan, and China.
Christian von Koenigsegg had this to say about the intelligent super car: "I am extremely proud of the Agera RS program. The RS is a classic Koenigsegg, with all the core values and features that the Koenigsegg brand stands for."
The carbon-fibre creation is understood to be exceedingly expensive and is propelled by a twin-turbo 5.0-litre V8 that bangs out 865kW at 7800rpm and 1280Nm at 4100rpm.
"The performance, road feel and responsiveness are truly amazing and the level of technical sophistication is second to none. It is a true 'pinnacle' project that has been wholly embraced by our customers and friends," said von Koenigsegg.
The 25-car production run will be completed this year, with the last deliveries taking place some time in 2017.
