LA MOTOR SHOW: Subaru teases next WRX
New generation of rally-forged turbo weapon will surface in California later this monthSubaru's next WRX will make its world debut at the Los Angeles motor show from November 21.
As we've reported in the past, the new WRX will be based on the same platform as Impreza, but with its own distinctive look.
The car, which is the fourth-generation of WRX brought to market since 1992, will go on show in LA built to North American specifications. In the lead-up to the show, the manufacturer has developed a website that will be progressively updated with new information.
Subaru also plans to exhibit a new concept car on the stand with the new WRX. With the LA show opening during the same week as the Tokyo motor show, it's unlikely that the concept will be one of the three concepts prepared specifically for the Japanese event, but given the manufacturer's admitted engineering resource limitations, the American concept is likely to be a variation on one of the Japanese themes – a sedan version of the Levorg, for instance.
