Leaked pics: Jeep Renegade
500X-based SUV will revive Renegade model nameCross out Jeep Junior or any of the other names on the grapevine's short list of names – Jeep's new baby will wear the Renegade badge when it goes on sale globally.
Enthusiast site Jalopnik.com has not only revealed leaked pics from an unnamed source, but has also divulged the name for the new Jeep.
The sub-Patriot model is based on the Fiat 500X and will rival cars already here or on the way, such as the Holden Trax, Ford EcoSport, Peugeot 2008 and Renault Captur.
While there's little more information to hand, we anticipate Jeep will bring the Renegade to Australia, with petrol engines more likely than diesel, but diesel remains a possibility as a premium offering.
