Lexus will display its upcoming TZ electric SUV and limited-edition RZ 600e F SPORT Performance at the 2026 Melbourne Cup Carnival, ahead of their Australian arrivals. The pair will be showcased in the Birdcage Enclosure at Flemington Racecourse, with the RZ due in late 2026 and the TZ following in 2027.

The Melbourne Cup display will provide one of the first opportunities for Australian buyers to see both vehicles before they reach local showrooms.
The Lexus TZ is a battery-electric SUV with three rows of seating.
According to Lexus, the model has been designed to balance passenger accommodation and cargo space, depending on seating configuration.

The RZ 600e F SPORT Performance will sit at the top of the RZ range. It features increased aerodynamic downforce, a sports suspension lowered by 20mm, unique 21-inch wheels and an optional Hakugin white matte two-tone paint finish.
It also receives a yoke-style steering wheel and steer-by-wire system.
Lexus says only nine examples will be sold in Australia.
The RZ 600e F SPORT Performance is due to arrive in Australia in late 2026, while the larger TZ electric SUV is scheduled to launch in 2027.
Both models will be displayed throughout the Melbourne Cup Carnival at Flemington Racecourse.
