Jaguar Land Rover Australia has officially launched the Jaguar F-PACE 300 Sport and F-PACE Chequered Flag models in the local market.
Powered by the same 221kW turbocharged petrol four-cylinder engine that has recently been named the sole powertrain option for the XE sedan as well as a 3.0-litre diesel V6 – also producing 221kW – the F-PACE 300 Sport is priced at $93,015. Torque figures are 400Nm for the petrol model, or 700Nm for the diesel.
Bedecked in dark satin grey accents outside, including grille shell, side window surrounds, side vents, mirror caps, door finishers and rear valance, the Jaguar F-PACE 300 Sport features exclusive badging on the grille and tailgate. Only three colours are available: Yulong White, Indus Silver and Santorini Black.
Inside, the Jaguar F-PACE 300 Sport stands out with yellow stitching on the dash, centre console and leather seats. A '300 Sport' logo appears on the scuff plates, carpet mats, steering wheel and as embossing on the front headrests.
As standard, the Jaguar F-PACE 300 Sport is equipped with 14-way electric adjustment for the front seats, a Meridian audio system and Touch Pro Navigation with Connect Pro – remote-access facility – operating through a 12.3-inch touch screen.
Options available include 18-way power seat adjustment, heated front/rear seats, adaptive cruise control and adaptive dynamics.
Priced from $85,105, the Jaguar F-PACE Chequered Flag is based on R-Sport variants and features a sports front bumper and gloss black accents for the front grille, door cladding, side vents and roof rails. The three colours available are: Yulong White, Santorina Black and Eiger Grey, which is a new colour in the F-PACE range.
Standard features comprise Touch Pro Navigation pack, Meridian audio system, 12.3-inch touch screen, leather upholstery for the 10-way electrically-adjustable front seats, meshed aluminium trim and 'Chequered Flag' scuff plates.
The F-PACE Chequered Flag are all-wheel drive models powered by a choice of 184kW petrol Ingenium powerplant or two diesels, developing 177kW or 132kW. Each of the four-cylinder engines displaces 2.0 litres.
With the limited-edition F-PACE models officially going on sale in Australia, Jaguar has also introduced Apple CarPlay and Android Auto enhanced smartphone connectivity across the F-PACE range.
