Mahindra Australia has slashed up to $10,000 from the drive-away price of its XUV700, making the seven-seat SUV available from $29,990 drive away for a limited time.
Available on 2025-built stock until October 31, 2026, the offer cements the XUV700's position as one of Australia's cheapest seven-seat SUVs and increases pressure on value-focused rivals.

Mahindra says the latest campaign is designed to give Australian households greater buying power at a time when cost-of-living pressures continue to affect family budgets.
The XUV700 AX7's new $29,990 drive-away price makes it one of the cheapest seven-seat SUVs available in Australia. While, the well-equipped AX7L is also significantly reduced, now available from $33,990 drive away.
Both grades feature adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, lane-keep assist and traffic sign recognition, alongside a panoramic sunroof, 18-inch alloy wheels and dual 10.25-inch displays covering infotainment and instrumentation.

The cabin's three-row layout continues to be a key selling point. Unlike many similarly priced medium SUVs that offer only five seats, the XUV700 can accommodate up to seven occupants while maintaining dimensions comparable to popular five-seat rivals.
Buyers stepping up to the AX7L gain additional equipment including a 360-degree camera system, blind-spot monitoring, a driver's knee airbag, ventilated front seats and a 12-speaker audio system.
Under the bonnet, the XUV700 is powered by a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine paired with a six-speed automatic transmission, producing 149.2kW and 380Nm.
The aggressive pricing is likely to increase attention on the Indian-built XUV700 as competition intensifies in Australia's medium SUV segment.
It also puts further pressure on rival value-focused seven-seat SUVs from brands such as Chery, particularly given the XUV700's combination of seven seats, advanced safety technology and a sub-$30,000 drive-away starting price.
Prospective buyers will need to move relatively quickly, however, with the offer scheduled to end on October 31, 2026 and limited to vehicles built in 2025. Once those vehicles are sold or the promotion concludes, pricing is expected to revert to normal levels.
