The 2025 Porsche 911 Carrera T has been facelifted, receiving most of the same ‘992.2’ revisions as the core 911 range as well as the recently unwrapped GT3.
For the first time however, the now manual-only Carrera T will also be offered as a Cabriolet.
Pricing details will be announced closer to the model’s local introduction; however the headline details include a 290kW/450Nm twin-turbocharged 3.0-litre flat-six-cylinder petrol engine, a six-speed manual transmission with auto-blipper, a 4.5-second 0-100km/h time and 295km/h v-max.
Zero-100km/h in the Cabriolet takes a slightly longer 4.7 seconds on the way to a marginally lower top speed of 293km/h.
Like the standard Carrera, 992.2 Carrera T now gets larger brakes as standard but features less interior insulation and a sports exhaust as standard.
Rear-axle steering has also been added to the mix for extra agility, while the manual coupe and Cab sit 10mm lower (than the donor car) courtesy of a bespoke sport chassis tune that includes new anti-roll bars for more neutral handling.
The whole package rolls on staggered 20-inch front and 21-inch rear alloy wheels wrapped in 245/35 and 305/30 profile rubber respectively.
Helping it stand out from the crowd is a new sticker with a shift pattern logo on each triangular rear window, a ‘Vanadium Grey’ finish for the grille inlays, mirror caps and wheels and a GTS-spec spoiler lip.
Inside the cabin is a shortened gear lever adorned with a laminated open-pore walnut knob, shift pattern logo printed on the dash, four-way power-adjustable sport seats upholstered in tartan fabric, a heated sports steering wheel, more Vanadium Grey inlays and black brushed aluminium door cards,
It’s thought the 911 Carrera T will land in the third quarter of next year carrying a premium over the $299,200 plus on-roads starting price of its 992.1 predecessor.
