Maserati GranTurismo preview at the Opera House

Select guests, including the 100 or so who've plonked money down on one, have attended a preview bash for the Maserati GranTurismo.

Italian cuisine courtesy of 'Guillaume at Bennelong' was followed by the presentation proper at the Opera House. MC was Edward Butler, GM for Maserati in Australia and NZ. He was ably assisted by model and TV presenter, Erika Heynatz (pictured).

One car was flown to Australia for the preview, in advance of the car's public launch at the Australian International Motor Show in Sydney during October.

Many of those who have placed firm orders for the car have done so prior to the local distributor finalising Australian pricing and specification for the GranTurismo.
