Mazda has confirmed pricing for its upcoming MX-5 RF Limited Edition will start from $55,790 (plus on-road costs). As motoring.com.au stated in September, the 'LE' will feature BBS wheels, Bilstein shocks, Brembo brakes, Recaro seats, strut bar and Sports Body Kit. It also comes with a choice of five exterior colours and a black roof. Mazda will cap numbers at just 110 units. Mazda will release a special-edition MX-5 hard-top early next year featuring a range of chassis and cosmetic extras.
Pricing is yet to be revealed, but an official Mazda Australia document seen by motoring.com.au states that just 110 examples will be available, based on the range-topping MX-5 2.0L RF GT (priced from $43,890).
Additional features will include black front, side and rear under spoilers, black two-tone roof, black 17-inch multi-spoke BBS alloy wheels, Brembo brakes with red callipers, Bilstein shocks, a suspension strut bar and Recaro sports seats.
Customers will also receive a special gift pack containing a limited-edition MX-5 watch and a letter signed by the MX-5 program manager.
The six-speed manual-only Mazda MX-5 2.0L RF Limited Edition will be available in six exterior paint colours: Soul Red Crystal Metallic, Eternal Blue Mica (both of which are new), Snowflake White Pearl Mica, Machine Grey Metallic, Titanium Flash Mica and Ceramic Metallic.
