McLaren launches MSO parts for 12C, 650S and 675LT
Brit supercar maker to offer aftermarket personalisation for supercar rangeMcLaren Special Operations (MSO) has announced owners of its 12C, 650S and 675LT can soon upgrade their cars with a new range of aftermarket accessories that slash weight and boost performance.
The new parts, sold under the "MSO Defined" tag, include a carbon-fibre rear diffuser that's claimed to not only cut weight but improve downforce.
Other desirable carbon-fibre parts are new lightweight mirrors and louvered front wings that save over a kilo in weight for the pair and reduce turbulent air within the wheel arches and reduce front axle lift at high speed.
Inside, the carbon-fibre-fest continues with vent bezels, sill top, an alcantara-trimmed steering wheel and gear shift paddles.
All parts are available now, says McLaren, although the Woking-based car maker has not released pricing.
