The MY26 Mahindra Scorpio SUV range has been updated, arriving Down Under soon with a rationalised line-up that now consists of a single top-spec grade, priced $2000 higher than before, but fitted with more advanced driver aids and new tech.

The $2000 price increase for the 2026 Mahindra Scorpio Z8L+ – now the only grade offered – brings a host of safety and driver assist aids.
Featured drive assist technologies include autonomous emergency braking (AEB) with pedestrian and cyclist detection, adaptive cruise control with stop/go, traffic sign recognition, lane-keep assist with departure warning, and Smart Pilot Assist, which enables Level 2 semi-autonomous hands-on driving.

The Scorpio also includes front vehicle start alert, which notifies the driver when the car ahead moves off via an audible alert and steering wheel vibration.
The update saw the addition of high-beam assist, an electric parking brake with automatic hold, an auto-dimming rear-view mirror, and ventilated front seats.
The seven-seat 4x4’s mechanicals go untouched, continuing with a 129kW/400Nm 2.2-litre four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine with the brand’s 4XPLOR terrain management system, low-range transfer case, and automatically locking rear differential.

Mahindra says the updated Scorpio will arrive in local showrooms “across summer”.
