GAC Australia has revealed full specifications for its upcoming Emzoom SUV, confirming a single, highly equipped variant for launch. However, pricing remains under wraps for now.

Serving as the entry-point to GAC Australia’s inbound range, the 2025 GAC EMZOOM will compete with the likes of the MG ZS, GWM Haval Jolion, and KGM Korando in the challenger ranks of the small-medium SUV market.
Powered by a segment appropriate 125kW/270Nm turbocharged 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine that drives the front wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission – a combination said to return 6.6L/100km on the combined cycle.

For now, the launch range is limited to the GL grade, loaded with features like a panoramic sunroof, 18-inch alloy wheels, faux leather upholstery, ventilated power driver’s seat, dual-zone climate, a 14.6-inch digital touchscreen with wireless phone projection, 7-inch digital instruments, plus a 360 degree camera and automatic parking.
Standout safety gear meantime includes six airbags, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, adaptive cruise control, and blind spot monitoring.

Within the next week or so, GAC will confirm pricing for the EMZOOM, AION V, and M8, while also unveiling an aftersales program it hopes will redefine customer care in the local market.
