Toyota has updated its LandCruiser Prado. One of Australia’s top-selling SUVs, the new updated Prado features a redesigned front-end, new alloys and an interior makeover.
According to Toyota, the “comprehensive” interior change improves “quality, convenience and ease of use with new multi-media audio systems, a redesigned dashboard and new materials, detailing and features.”
Suspension changes have been incorporated for both the standard system and the Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System fitted to high-spec Prado models.
Engines and gearboxes are unchanged since the 150 Series launch in 2009.
And the rest of the changes come at a cost. Only the entry level Prado’s sticker price is unchanged at $55,990. Pricing across the rest of the range has increased up to $1455. The top of the range Prado, the turbodiesel Kakadu, is now an eye-watering $92,590.
