Cadillac has released yet another tease of its BMW 7-Series challenger by releasing images that preview the 34-speaker sound system it’s developed with Bose.
Called the new Panaray Sound System, the new Cadillac's audio system features speakers dotted all around the cabin, including a pair embedded in the driver and passenger headrests.
Instead of large units, nearly all of the 34 speakers measure less than four inches and are said to be strategically placed around the cabin.
Cadillac hasn’t released any more information on how powerful the new sound system is other than saying “CT6 customers will be elated by what they hear”.
As far as the interior itself, it’s difficult to tell how radical the changes are in Cadillac’s luxury sedan other than repositioning the seat adjustment controls to the door.
The latest interior preview is the third time Cadillac has teased the CT6.
The CT6 first starred in a minute-long TV commercial shown during the Oscars and earlier this week Cadillac released technical details of the new 298kW/543Nm 3.0-litre twin-turbo petrol V6 that will power it.
Cadillac’s answer to the Audi A8 will be revealed at the New York motor show on March 31 with production set to commence later this year.
Cadillac was once all set to launch in Australia, but Holden MD at the time, Mark Reuss, pulled the plug on the brand as the global recession bit, after only 80 CTS models were imported.
Recently, there has been renewed speculation the 112-year old car maker could once again be sold Down Under.
