The 2025 Nissan Patrol has been officially teased again ahead of its September 4 unveiling giving us our first look at its interlinked tail lamps and imposing grille.
Posting images on both its social and new The Icon microsite, from now on Nissan has announced it will reveal a part of the hotly anticipated seventh-generation (Y63) Nissan Patrol until launch, beginning with the grill and rear lamps.
On the same site there's also a 360-degree view of the next Patrol sitting under a veil showing off its proportions that loosely seem to match the outgoing off-roader.
Closely related to the Infiniti QX80 that's already on sale in other markets like the Middle East, the next Patrol will also spin-off a softer family orientated three-row Armada SUV that will be sold in the US.
Set to sit on a large, rugged ladder-frame chassis shared with all three vehicles, the Y63 Patrol should up the sophistication over the current 4x4 by coming with a new twin-turbocharged 3.5-litre V6 petrol that will be combined with a nine-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.
As far as styling goes, we expect a more curved front end, a larger dominant grille that's already been previewed from today and a pair of slimmer headlamps.
At the rear, the latest tease suggests a chunkier tailgate, while the blocky lamps with C-shaped elements hint at a US-inspired look.
Set to be on sale before the end of this year in the Middle East it's thought the all-new Nissan Patrol won't touchdown in Australia until the middle of 2025.
