Nissan Qashqai: FAQs

The Nissan Qashqai is one of Nissan’s most successful models globally with particularly strong sales in Europe and developed markets like Australia.

A small crossover, the Nissan Qashqai is a popular alternative to conventional hatchbacks.

Although only a limited number of Nissan Qashqai owner reviews are published at carsales, it is highly rated by its owners.

The Nissan Dualis badge was also used for this model in Australia. It too was highly rated.

Carsales directly compared the Nissan Qashqai and Renault Kadjar in late 2019.

Since then updates to the Nissan Qashqai have redressed a number of its shortcomings. It would be a closer-run race with the most recent Qashqai model.

Combining many of the attributes of a hatchback with the looks and higher driving position of a small SUV, the Nissan Qashqai delivers the best of both worlds for some buyers.

A so-called ‘crossover’, the Qashqai is very popular in European markets and has also sold well in Australia.

Although not necessarily popular with automotive journalists, the Nissan Qashqai resonates with consumers for its strong value for money.
