Hot on the heels of Nissan Australia launching the 370Z NISMO comes details of an updated MY18 370Z now available overseas.
Visual updates for the coupe, first introduced back in 2009, are best described as 'minor'.
Look closely and you might spot the updated coupe's NISMO-inspired black door-handles and rear diffuser, smoked front and rear lights and fresh 19-inch alloy wheels.
And there's a new red metallic paint exclusive to the regular 'Z' and not available on the hard-core NISMO model.
Inside, the updated 370Z gets a new 7.0-inch infotainment system incorporating sat-nav, DVD player and reversing camera.
Under the bonnet, power and torque for the naturally-aspirated 3.7-litre V6 remain pegged at 245kW/363Nm but, for six-speed manual models, Nissan has sourced a new high-performance clutch from Japanese transmission specialist, Exedy.
Reduced pedal effort and improved gear change precision are two of the benefits of the new clutch pack, says Nissan.
Nissan's standard Synchro Rev Control rev-match system carries over, as does the current seven-speed automatic transmission.
Nissan claims the refreshed 370Z also comes with a re-tuned suspension which promises to deliver "outstanding ride quality" without compromising handling.
Earlier this month Nissan Australia announced pricing for the just-launched 370Z NISMO Couipe, which is priced from $61,490.
At the same time, the Japanese car-maker slashed $6940 from the coupe, which is now priced from under $50,000, and a still-considerable $4950 from the convertible.
Nissan Australia advises the MY18 370Z range will be available locally within months.
