On-road incentives for Alfa Romeo

Alfa Romeo has come out fighting for sales in February. After a poor month in January, the traditional Italian marque is aiming to drum up some renewed interest in the showrooms by offering on-road costs included in the price of the entire model range.

"There has never been a better time to buy an Alfa Romeo," says Edward Butler, General Manager for Alfa Romeo in Australia.

"And, with the state of the Australian dollar, there probably never will be again! These prices, the high levels of standard equipment and, of course, the style and performance that comes as standard with every Alfa Romeo, mean that it has never been easier to own the Alfa Romeo that your heart has always desired!"

Alfa Romeo dealers will sell you a 147 on the road for the recommended retail price of $39,990, a saving of $3600. Similar savings apply to the 159 JTD 1.9 ($49,990 including $3800 of on-roads), Alfa GT ($54,990 with as much as $4000 worth of on-roads) and the Alfa Spider ($69,990, a saving of $5300).

Since mid-August of last year, the Aussie dollar has dropped from just under 0.60 Euro to just below 0.50 Euro. Ateco Automotive, the local distributor for Alfa Romeo, buys the stock in Euros, so the prices can be expected to rise shortly.
