PARIS MOTOR SHOW: Citroen Divine DS concept

Latest DS concept previews next design direction for Citroen's upmarket sub-brand

Citroen has revealed images and details of a new concept that will preview its future design direction at the Paris motor show opening on October 2.

Labelled the Divine DS concept, the small five-door hatchback features a prominent grille flanked by LED headlights, but is devoid of a rear window.

Instead, it employs a reversing camera that displays images onto a digital rear-view mirror.

The DS Divine's futuristic cabin was developed with Swarovski and features four individual seats separated by a full-length centre console. The cabin also features silk and leather upholstery, and carbon-fibre trim.

Few other details have been announced, but according to Autocar, the 160kW front-wheel drive Divine concept previews the future styling direction for Citroen's expanding DS brand – which currently comprises the DS3, DS4 and DS5 – rather than a particular future model.
