GMSV has added $3500 to asking price of its 2025 Chevrolet Silverado HD for the new model year, though the upgrades only extend to the truck’s cosmetics and colour palette.
The big Chevy now starts from $166,500 plus on-road costs and dons blacked-out bumpers, red recovery hooks and black 20-inch alloy wheels with matching black centre caps.
As for the colour palette, that’s been expanded from four hues to six with the addition of Cypress Grey, Radiant Red, Sterling Grey and Lakeshore Blue joining the existing Summit White and Black, albeit at the expense of Red Hot and Slate Grey.
No changes have been made to the 6.6-litre Duramax turbo-diesel V8 engine which continues to burble out 350kW/1322Nm and drive all four wheels via a 10-speed Allison automatic transmission and full-time 4x4 system.
