Quick goodbye: Mitsubishi launches final Lancer Evo X

Japanese car maker, Mitsubishi, has launched its final version of the iconic Lancer Evolution X with a special edition imaginatively called the Final Edition.

Just 1000 Final Edition models will be made with the last batch of Evo Xs based on the GSR models. Standard equipment will include the five-speed manual, BBS alloys, Bilstein dampers, Eibach springs and Recaro seats.

The Final Edition comes with the standard 220kW 2.0-litre turbo.

Made for the Japanese domestic market it’s unlikely any of the last hurrah for the Evo models will make it Down Under.
