Porsche is conducting a 'precautionary' recall of the brand's 911 Carrera, 718 Boxster and 718 Cayman sports cars, as part of a global recall to rectify loose screws holding fuel collector pipes in place.
According to the importer, 239 units of the cars sold in Australia are affected. Owners will be contacted shortly to arrange a time with the nearest dealer for screws to be replaced by 'optimised' screws.
Nissan has issued a recall noticed for the R52 series of Pathfinder SUV, due to the fuel tank's wall being of insufficient thickness.
"In rare instances during a crash, this condition could lead to fuel leakage," the company has stated. According to Nissan, 89 vehicles sold locally are subject to the recall notice. Nissan will contact owners to make arrangements with the nearest authorised dealer once parts are available. The parts will comprise a new fuel tank and fuel gauge packing.
Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) for the affected Pathfiners range from 5N1AR2M**FC724615 to 5N1AR2M**FC724817.
