Just a year after it went on sale in Australia, the Chery Tiggo 4 has come in for a facelift.
Previously known as the Chery Tiggo 4 Pro, the 2025 Chery Tiggo 4 has dropped the ‘Pro’ part of its name and now comes with a range of other updates, but with no bump in price.
Arriving in Australian showrooms in April, the MG ZS or Hyundai Kona rivalling Chery scores fresh 17- and 18-inch alloy wheels, plus a new tailgate that features a pair of new LED light clusters interlinked with a full-width light bar.
Still available in Urban and Ultimate trims, the entry price sees the Chery Tiggo 4 still kick off from just $23,990 drive away.
Within, the most basic Urban gets a more powerful six-speaker sound system that used to be only available on the higher-grade trim. The base model also gets auto wipers, acoustic glass, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a 10.25-inch infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay, dual-zone climate control and new 17-inch rims,
The more upmarket Ultimate, meanwhile, now gets a new 15W wireless phone charger, a set of new 18-inch alloy wheels, electric folding mirrors, a sunroof with sunshade, and faux leather heated seats.
Colour choice remains limited to Mercurial Grey, Lunar White, Space Black or Lunar Silver, along with the premium Martian Red that costs $500 extra.
Under the bonnet, the current Tiggo 4 Pro’s turbocharged 1.5-litre four-cylinder engine carries over. It produces an identical 108kW and 210Nm that sees it average 7.4L/100km.
Chery has already announced that later this year the turbo-four will be joined by a more efficient hybrid powertrain, but it’s yet to release official details.
With carry-over pricing from the pre-facelift model, the 2025 Chery Tiggo 4 is still covered by a seven-year/unlimited-kilometre warranty and comes with seven years of capped-price servicing.
