Renault Koleos with all the Bose and whistles
Limited edition of Renault's compact SUV adds even more valueRenault has announced a value-added limited edition of its X-TRAIL-based SUV, the Koleos. Based on the Dynamique level of trim, the Koleos Bose Special Edition can be specified in three different variants: petrol 4x2, petrol 4x4 and diesel 4x4.
In keeping with the name, the limited edition model features a Bose audio system with digital amplifier, seven speakers (including subwoofer), CD/MP3 playback and fingertip control. Renault and Bose engineers collaborated on the development of the vehicle, selecting the optimal location for each of the speakers.
Renault is charging a $500 premium over the purchase price of standard Dynamique models, but in addition to the Bose audio, the Koleos gains 17-inch alloys in a dark metal finish, piano black and carbon-fibre interior highlights – all complemented by the Bose badging and branded sills. Five colours are available: Solid White, Pearl White, Mars Grey, Mineral Beige and Metallic Black.
The limited edition models are priced from $34,990 (petrol 4x2). The petrol 4x4 is priced at $38,490 and the diesel 4x4 tops the lot at $39,490. Electric sunroof ($2490) and metallic paint ($800) are the only options.
