Price rises have again been applied to key Renault models – the 2023 Renault Megane RS, Captur, Arkana and Master – with up to $1200 added to the manufacturer’s recommended retail price, depending on the model.
A $500 increase across the 2023 Renault Megane RS range includes the just-released Ultime swansong variants, as well as the established Trophy variants, even as the hot hatch enters its final production run.
See our full price lists below, but in short the RS Trophy manual now starts at $63,500 plus on-road costs – almost $10,000 higher than it was just 12 months ago – while the range-topping Ultime automatic is now $70,500 plus ORCs.
The 2023 Renault Captur small SUV is now $1200 more expensive at the entry level, starting at $33,000 for the Life and $35,000 for the second-tier Zen (both plus on-roads), while the Intens now starts at $39,500 plus ORCs (+$700).
That leaves the flagship RS Line as the only model left untouched.
The bigger Renault Arkana is also $700 more expensive for the entry-level Zen (from $37,500) and top-spec RS Line (from $45,000), while the mid-series Intens now opens at $41,000 plus ORCs (+$200).
With the 2023 Renault Master commercial range, the asking prices are $1000-$1100 higher than before, starting at $49,700 for the Low Roof SWB manual van and peaking at $68,700 for the 12-seater bus.
The Master line-up will be bolstered next year by the battery-electric 2024 Renault Master E-Tech, which might only be on the market for a short period given Renault is now readying the next-generation series.
Renault has previously cited rising costs of raw materials and shipping logistics as key factors driving up prices.
