Brazil's Sao Paolo motor show will play host to a new design study that has been teased in an official picture released today by Nissan.
The manufacturer has revealed little information about the new show car – not even the name – but the image clearly reveals a number of SUV design cues and Nissan's current corporate look, complete with V-shaped grille and 370Z-like headlights. Furthermore, the proportions of the concept car reflect a wide-track/short-overhang stance familiar to us from Nissan's Extrem concept also unveiled in Sao Paolo, two years ago. The show car may be the next stage of evolution, taking the Micra-based Extrem concept to a new point along the path towards a production-ready successor to the controversial Juke.
It's believed Nissan has opted to introduce the concept in Sao Paolo due to the importance of the Brazilian market in the company's plans. Brazil, one of the four BRIC nations – the others being Russia, India and China – is one of the fastest growing economies in the world.
