Chinese-owned British brand MG appears prepared to reveal a sleek coupe at next week's Shanghai motor show.
Called the ‘E-Motion’, it scores classic, elegant and muscular lines, as you can see from these teaser pics.
Speculation in China points to the MG E-Motion riding on car-making giant SAIC’s existing electric vehicle platform and fitted with all-wheel drive, providing a 500km driving range and a sub four-second 0-100km/h sprint.
What's certain is the E-Motion will be dramatically different to previous models from the resuscitated MG brand, which has just relaunched in Australia with the MG 3 and MG 6 small cars and the GS mid-size SUV, with the small ZS SUV to follow later this year.
