Skoda Kodiaq RS pricing revealed
New high-performance SUV arrives under $70,000The new Skoda Kodiaq RS performance SUV has been priced at $65,990 plus on-road costs in Australia.
The first Skoda SUV to wear the RS badge, it is available now to order now, but be won’t be available for delivery until late in the first quarter of 2020.
The Skoda Kodiaq RS is powered by a 176kW/500Nm 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine that propels it to 100km/h in a claimed seven seconds.
Standard RS equipment includes dynamic chassis control, drive mode selection, nine airbags, adaptive cruise control and a group of other driver-assist functions, plus a 360-degree camera.
Convenience features include keyless entry, an automatic tailgate, tri-zone air-conditioning, an electric park brake, wireless phone charging and powered front seats.
Skoda Kodiaq RS exterior highlights include 20-inch alloy wheels and twin tailpipes, while inside there is an RS-specific digital instrument cluster, multi-function sports steering wheel with paddles, sports seats and carbon-style dashboard and door trims.
The Czech brand’s new flagship SUV also debuts Skoda Dynamic Sound Boost, which is an artificial sound enhancer.
Optional equipment for the RS is limited to metallic paint ($770), a panoramic sunroof ($1900) and side steps ($1300).
