The 2025 Skoda Octavia sedan and wagon will now be offered in a mid-spec model grade.
On sale now, the Octavia Sportline has been introduced to slot between the entry-level Select and flagship RS.
In keeping with the rest of the range, the Octavia Sportline will also be offered in both sedan and wagon forms, the latter of which commands a $1500 premium.
Priced from $44,490 and $45,990 plus on-road costs (ORCs) respectively for the Octavia Sportline sedan and wagon, the new mid-spec trim level represents a nearly $5000 uptick compared to the entry-level Octavia Select, which starts at $39,590 (plus ORCs).
But the Sportline brings an array of goodies for the extra cash, including larger 19-inch alloy wheels, Matrix LED headlights with cornering function, gloss-black roof rails (wagon only), handsfree powered tailgate, keyless entry with push-button start, a black headliner, and stainless-steel pedal covers.
Inside, sports seats with integrated headrests come leatherette-appointed, the front seats are heated, and the leatherette-clad dash comes complete with grey stitching.
Meanwhile, the Sportline adds progressive steering and a driver profile selection, while an electronic child safety lock is also included.
Under the bonnet, the Sportline mirrors the Octavia Select, with both powered by a 110kW/250Nm 1.4-litre four-cylinder petrol engine mated to an eight-speed automatic that drives the front wheels.
