SPY PHOTOS: Mercedes-Benz C Coupé AMG Black Series
Merc's hot new C-Class Coupé caught back in black at the 'RingBilled as the 'true successor' to the CLK 63 AMG Black Series, launched back in 2007, the new AMG-enhanced C-Class Coupé Black Series combines ground-pounding V8 performance with stealthy looks and, we hope, a little less fat.
This production version of the new Black was snapped by spy photographers Carparazzi as it underwent testing at Germany's famed Nurburgring. The brutish coupe shown here complete with pumped front guards that seem to melt over a wider front track, motivation likely coming from Merc's 380kW 6.2-litre V8.
Our sources tell us the new Black C Coupé will soon be followed by an equally persuasive sedan variant, though timing is yet to be confirmed.
Expect to see the Mercedes-Benz C Coupé AMG Black Series at the Frankfurt International Motor Show in Septmeber.
