Mercedes-Benz is developing a facelift for its E-Class sedan but, as these photos of an undisguised car snapped in Germany by the Carparazzi team indicate, there’s not a lot to talk about – externally anyway.
About the only information the photos seem to convey is that Benz will effect a small rearrangement of the E-Class LED daytime running lights, lifting them out of the lower bumper apertures and relocating them within the lower section of the headlight lens. The “fog” lights will take up residence in their former home.
The rest of the frontal architecture, as far as we can see, remains unchanged.
At the back there don’t appear to be any changes at all. Even the taillight lenses look identical to the current car. The same appears to apply to the side view, where the side skirts, rearview mirrors and trim don’t appear identical.
As for under-the-skin changes, we’ll just need to bide our time, but what's the bet there's already some weight taken out?
