SPY PICS: Audi Q7 petrol and plug-in

Large SUV tested in e-tron form at the 'Ring, and conventional petrol job at high altitudes in southern Europe
Audi's Q7 for 2015 is currently being spotted all over the place. Automedia's spy photographers have been tracking it as far afield as Germany's Nurburgring down to southern Europe.
These photos published here show the conventional petrol-engined model undergoing high-altitude testing somewhere in Europe's sunnier climes, while the e-tron version which we know is on the cards for Australia has been caught out at the Nurburgring.
Front quarter panels that have been pushed out hint at a significant change of direction for the company's corporate styling theme /news/2014/large-passenger/audi/audi-flagship-concept-previews-new-look-45936 and Automedia has now arrived at the conclusion the new model may be as much as 400kg lighter than the current Q7. That would be the sort of weight reduction that Land Rover and BMW have also achieved in their respective SUVs.
