These pictures of a German-registered Santa Fe in camouflage strongly hint at significant cosmetic tweaks for the SUV's mid-life update.
According to the spy snappers at Automedia, the facelifted Santa Fe will gain restyled bumpers, grille, headlights and tail lights. There's also the prospect of a revised interior, but little likelihood of mechanical changes underneath, the spy photographers claim.
While there's practically nothing to indicate from the photos that the revised Santa Fe will be markedly different from the current model, the heavy cladding around the rear and the front hint at detail changes that could mirror the family look of the new Sonata and Genesis models that will reach Australia in coming months. That may mean a more prominent grille and raised bonnet. Don't rule out a new pressing for the tailgate and possibly tail lights in the D pillars either.
