Subaru Australia has released a limited-edition version of its popular XV small SUV, based on the entry-level 2.0i CVT variant.
Limited to just 200 units, the 'SUnshine Yellow' special costs $1750 more at $30,740 plus on-road costs.
Extras for the black interior include heated leather-trimmed front seats, a leather-trimmed gear shifter and steering wheel, and embroidered carpet mats with orange stitching to match the unique seat, steering wheel and armrest stitching.
The yelloy XV special follows price cuts of up to $2000 across the range in December.
“Unique colours have been an inherent part of the XV range since launch," said Subaru Australia Managing Director, Nick Senior.
“A much-copied orange, a vibrant green and now a stand-out yellow. These colours have not only proven to be popular with our younger XV buyers, they have broad appeal.
“And with a limited run of only 200 vehicles the long-term value of this particular XV is likely to be very, very strong.
“It is competitively priced and comprehensively equipped with the inclusion of leather trim interior and heated seats over the entry level. We don’t envisage these will last long.”
