Suzuki has signalled a renewed sales assault by means of a six-day sale running through to Saturday May 31.
The importer and its dealer network are offering retail incentives across the entire Suzuki range, including a drive-away price of $16,690 for the Swift GL automatic, $17,690 (drive-away) for the Swift GL Navigator, $1000 cash back for every variant of S-Cross, and the Freestyler pack – valued at $1500 of extras – for the Grand Vitara.
"There are terrific deals on offer, as well as the benefits of capped price servicing," said Suzuki Australia General Manager Tony Devers.
"Swift has always represented great value and safety, with standard features including curtain airbags, alloy wheels and driving lights.
"The addition of cruise control to a limited number of just 500 vehicles adds further value to our award winning small car," Devers continued.
"The new S-Cross offers a fantastic mix of class-leading space and fuel economy, with five-star safety and a smooth, refined drive.
"The limited $1000 cash back offer means customers can now own the very latest Suzuki hatch for just $21,990 drive away."
Additional features offered with the Grand Vitara's Freestyler pack comprise nudge bar, roof racks, bonnet protector and decals.
Suzuki Australia says it has been hamstrung in recent times by different logistical issues; among them the supply of the S-Cross from the company's Hungarian plant and shifting the production base for the Swift from Thailand back to Japan. The company claims to have missed out on up to 1800 sales during the early part of this year, as a consequence of the supply shortfall for Swift and S-Cross.
