Tesla Model S and X get 'Cheetah Stance' for better launches

US car-maker set to update sedan and SUV with new mode that pre-arms the adaptive suspension for even quicker launches

Tesla is primed to release a new update for the Model S and Model X's adaptive suspension that should ensure both battery-powered cars are even quicker off the line.

According to Tesla fan, greentheonly, a new software update that has already been rolled out by the electric car-maker has unlocked a new feature called 'Cheetah Stance' for vehicles fitted with adaptive suspension.

Designed to help provide the best possible launch, the new software lowers the front suspension and alters the damping when the car detects the driver firmly pressing the brake pedal with their left foot while pushing the accelerator pedal with their right foot.
