And while Kim Kardashian tends to aim a little higher than the plebian RAV4 – think Mercedes-AMG G-Class – analysis of celebrity rides out of the UK proves that one vehicle is preferred above all others… and it’s not the Range Rover Sport.
It is in fact the Tesla Model S.
Ludicrous? Shocking? It might be both of those things but the fact of the matter is celebs are clearly all bleeding-heart lefties who want to save the world one electric car at a time. Remember the mid-2000s when Hollywood’s biggest and brightest stars all drove Toyota Prius? Well in 2020 they’ve stepped up their game majorly.
The in-depth analysis looked into more than 200 A-listers and their rides and while the Tesla Model S was the most popular model, Tesla was far from the most owned brand.

Tesla fans include Hollywood stars such as Will Smith, Cameron Diaz rapper Jay-Z and Metallica frontman James Hetfield.
Hot on the wheels of the Model S was the Bentley Continental GT and the Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon, a favourite with the Kardashians and many sports stars.

As well as the overall top 10 models and manufacturers, the research also analysed the findings by celebrity professions. The Tesla Model S is most popular with film & TV stars. Other eco-friendly cars including the Tesla Roadster and Toyota Prius also make the list.
Footballers (and their WAGs) were found to prefer the Bentley Continental GT and the luxurious comfort of 4x4s like the Range Rover Sport. While rappers love the Lamborghini Aventador and other high priced hypercars like the Bugatti Veyron.
