Toyota has recycled the Altitude label yet again – this time for the added value model based on the 200 Series LandCruiser GXL.
Additional features over the standard GXL specification comprise the premium paint already mentioned, 18-inch, five-spoke alloy wheels, black leather-accented interior trim, premium steering wheel/gearshift knob, electrically-adjustable front seats and a cooler box in the centre console.
Priced at $92,165, the limited edition model is $1700 more expensive than the donor LC200 GXL turbo-diesel. The new Altitude gains trailer sway control recently introduced across the LandCruiser range and not previously available in the limited edition models. Five exterior colours are on offer: Crystal Pearl, Eclipse Black, Silver Pearl, Graphite and Shimmer.
