If you’ve treated yourself to one of Toyota’s latest GR performance models, you’re now invited to join the Japanese car-maker’s new and exclusive club.
Those that don’t own a Toyota GR Supra or Toyota GR Yaris will be able to join the GAZOO Racing Club further down the line, however, membership to the GR club is initially only available to owners, who are being gifted a free 12-month membership with the purchase of their vehicle.
Club members will gain access to exclusive events, experiences and content, plus club merchandise, special offers, discounts and club rates from Toyota, its partners and sponsors.
There’s also the opportunity to hear from GAZOO Racing drivers Neal, Harry and Lewis Bates in a webinar set to take place later this month, when the Bates boys will be joined by Toyota Australia chief designer Nic Hogios to cover off the new GR Yaris AP4 rally car, as well as more on the brand’s history.
Perhaps most excitingly, punters will also be invited to track days, where they’ll get tips from pro-drivers and be able to gather in one place.
At TGRA 86 Series and Australian Rally Championship events, members will also be able to come together in a member-only GAZOO Racing clubhouse.
Toyota Australia Chief Marketing Officer John Pappas says the new club will allow members to share their stories, knowledge and experiences with fellow members and fans of the brand.
“We know our GR owners are a passionate bunch and the formation of the club enables us to give them a deeper experience of the Toyota GAZOO Racing brand,” he said.
“Whether that’s getting tips from pro-drivers at track days to relish in the thrill of driving, exclusive access to VIP areas at motorsport events, or getting the inside line on all things GAZOO Racing from those who live and breathe the brand, it’s all about celebrating their passion for automotive performance.”
Joining the club also means GR owners get access to cheaper premium fuel, with an 8cpl discount at Caltex/Ampol petrol stations.
Meanwhile, a free three-month Kayo subscription is also included, so members can stream motorsport events as they wish.
Those who join the GAZOO Racing Club this year will also receive a limited-edition merchandise welcome pack.
Toyota says the club is designed to bring “like-minded motoring enthusiasts together and celebrate their passion for performance driving, motorsports and Toyota’s rich performance car heritage”.
